When you edit a table page content, you can use a quick text entry,
using line feeds to seperate rows, and vertical bars to seperate
columns.
However, there is also a table editor which allows easy edition of a table.
You can easily move rows and columns, and it gives instantly a good view

The Page Editor.

Typo3 is very hierarchical. Each element has a parent, and
can have one of multiple child element.
As such, pages can contains pages, but also content elements,
which are assigned to a column.
Each page can have up to 4 columns, but each column must be
manually activated and assigned in the template in order to work.
When a page is edited, the column view is shown by default, allowing an overview of the page.
New content element may be created, and
clicking on an existing element will allow editing. | | |

The Permission Manager.
Typo3 is a collaborative content manager. It allows
several users to collectivly manage a single website.
As such, several users can be created, and each user
can belong to 1 or multiple groups.
Pages can also be assigned to an owner or to a group,
as well as individual rights for it's owner, it's group and
everyone else.
Each of those rights can be edited via a Permission Editor.
