MC Mario is the most popular DJ in Canada. We integrated his website, MC Mario mixdown in TYPO3 in November 2006 in order to help solve different problems with their file management system.

MC Mario distributes to various radio stations three different weekly radio shows from his website. Every Thursday, one of his employees uploaded using HTTP file upload the three MP3, a process which took over five hours.

With TYPO3, the file upload is now performed by FTP in less than 20 minutes.

Furthermore, their old file management utility required setting individual file access rights every week, a lenghtly error-prone process. With TYPO3, rights are assigned to users when they sign-up according to their group, reducing the number of weekly management tasks.
